Window World CEO Todd Whitworth
|
North Wilkesboro, N.C --
Feb. 5, 2010 -- Wesley Todd Whitworth, 40, chief executive officer of
Window World Inc.,
Whitworth became CEO of the Window World after the retirement of his father, Leon Whitworth, the founder of the company. The company was listed as number three on Qualified Remodeler’s Annual National Firms list and on the Top Performers list published in September 2009 in conjunction with the magazine’s Top 500 listing.
Window World’s reported sales for 2008 were $343,068,133 with 212 locations in 46 states.
"We sell a great product at a price people can afford and our dealers have seen the response. It works,” Whitworth said in a 2007 Qualified Remodeler article.
Explaining his father’s business philosophy and the principle on which the company continued to operate, Whitworth said, “… you cannot have cheap price and a cheap product at the same time. It has got to be a great value, which means a low price and a premium product. And since that time, we have built our business on the slogan: simply the best for less."
